Atal Bihari Vajpayee was a true statesman of modern India. Only mentioning him as "Politician" somewhat undermines his legacy. Please make the edit as "was an Indian politician and statesman"<ref> 45.249.69.85 (talk) 23:48, 7 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Cause of His defeat.

[edit]

Gujarat Riots in 2002 and Delhi attacks in 2001 are not the reasons for defeat of Atal Bihari Vajpayee's led NDA. Because riots and Delhi attacks have occurred many times in tenures of other PMs' also. These don't lead to defeat. 2409:4089:2D44:7A28:0:0:6509:120E (talk) 04:24, 29 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Holding the attacks and riots responsible for the defeat undermine his legacy.

Please make the edit as "Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee led NDA got defeat in 2004 as the UPA had bribed the officers in-charge of elections for declaring victory of UPA in most of the seats" instead of riots and attacks.
